Student Guidelines

At The Prestige English School, we believe that a disciplined, respectful, and responsible attitude creates the foundation for a successful learning journey. Our student guidelines are designed to foster a safe, positive, and enriching school environment for everyone.

1. Attendance and Punctuality

  • Students must attend school regularly and be punctual.
  • Late arrivals or absences must be supported with a valid reason and a note from parents.
  • A minimum attendance percentage is required to appear for examinations.

2. Discipline and Behavior

  • Students are expected to show respect to teachers, staff, and fellow students at all times.
  • Any form of bullying, harassment, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
  • Politeness, honesty, and integrity should be practiced both inside and outside the school.

3. Uniform and Personal Appearance

  • The prescribed school uniform must be worn neatly and correctly every day.
  • Personal hygiene and grooming must be maintained.
  • Wearing fancy accessories or inappropriate attire is not allowed.

4. Use of Language

  • English is the medium of instruction and should be spoken at all times on campus to improve fluency.
  • Respectful and kind language must be used in all interactions.

5. Use of School Property

  • Students must take care of school property and avoid damaging furniture, books, or facilities.
  • Any damage caused must be reported immediately and may incur a penalty.

6. Electronic Devices

  • Mobile phones and other electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited unless authorized for educational use.
  • Unauthorized use may result in confiscation and disciplinary action.

7. Academic Integrity

  • Students are expected to complete their work honestly and independently.
  • Cheating, plagiarism, or tampering with school records will result in strict consequences.

8. Participation and Involvement

  • Students are encouraged to take part in academic, cultural, and sports activities.
  • Active involvement helps build confidence, leadership, and teamwork skills.

9. Health and Hygiene

  • Students should maintain personal cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Littering is strictly prohibited. Use dustbins placed throughout the campus.

10. Safety and Security

  • Follow all safety instructions during drills, practical classes, and school transport use.
  • Report any suspicious activity or concerns to a teacher or school authority immediately.
